Your details, and what we do with them.

What we collect

When you send the enquiry form, we keep:

• your name
• your mobile number
• the date of your event
• the city, if you give it
• the type of event, if you choose one
• the number of guests, if you choose a range
• whether you want a WhatsApp message or a call
• anything you write in the message box
• that you ticked the consent box, which version of its wording you saw, and when you sent the form

With the form, our system also records the page you sent it from, and whether our email to the team went out.

We do not ask for payment details, ID documents, your address or your email on this website. Please do not put them in the message box.

If you WhatsApp or call us instead, we have your number and what you tell us in that chat or call.

Why we collect it

Only to reply to your enquiry and to plan your event with you.

We also use some technical details to keep the form safe from bots and to fix the site when something breaks. We never use your details for advertising or marketing, we never sell them, and we never pass them to anyone to sell to you.

Who handles it

• The PC Caterers team, to reply to you and plan your event.
• The developer who maintains this website for us, who can see enquiries only to keep the form working.
• Cloudflare, which runs this website, stores enquiries for us and sends each new enquiry to our team by email. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a person, not a bot, sent the form. To do this it looks at your IP address and browser details, only to tell people from bots.
• WhatsApp (Meta), if you message us there. The chat is kept on WhatsApp under WhatsApp’s terms.
• Our email provider, where our team receives the email copy of each enquiry.
• Sentry, which receives error reports when the site breaks. We remove names, phone numbers and the contents of the form before a report leaves our system.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and does not identify you.

Like every website, our host Cloudflare sees your IP address when you visit any page, to deliver the page and protect the site, and keeps those logs briefly.

Each of these companies handles your details only on our instructions, or in the case of WhatsApp, under its own terms. We share your details with no one else, unless a law or a court requires it.

Where it is stored

Enquiries are stored on Cloudflare’s network. Cloudflare, Sentry and our email provider may hold them on servers outside India. We use them only through their standard data protection terms. If the Government of India restricts transfers to any country, we will follow that restriction.

How long we keep it

Thirteen months from the day you send the form. Then our system deletes it automatically. Backup copies clear within 7 days after that. Each month we also delete the email copies of enquiries that are older than thirteen months.

If you book an event with us, the details we need for the booking and our accounts are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. This notice does not cover those records.

Your choices and rights

• Withdraw your consent. Send us one WhatsApp message or call on +91 98977 77277, or email privacy@pccaterers.co.in, saying you want to withdraw. It is as easy as ticking the box was. We stop contacting you the same day and delete your enquiry within 7 days. Backup copies clear within 7 days after that. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before you asked.
• See your details. Ask us for a summary of the details we hold about you, what we have done with them, and who we have shared them with.
• Correct or update them. Tell us what is wrong or out of date and we will fix it.
• Erase them. Ask us to delete your details and we will, within 7 days. Backup copies clear within 7 days after that.
• Nominate someone. You can name a person who may use these rights for you if you die or cannot act for yourself. Send us their name and how to reach them.

Ask from the mobile number you gave us, so we know it is you. If you cannot, we may ask you for your event date to confirm. We will not ask for ID.

We reply within 2 working days and complete your request within 30 days.

If a law requires us to keep a record after you ask us to erase it, we keep only what that law requires, away from everyday use, and delete it as soon as that period ends.

Cookies

Our pages set no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We do not use advertising or tracking tools. Turnstile, the security check on the form, runs in its own frame from Cloudflare and is used only to tell people from bots. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page visits without cookies.

Children

This website and our enquiry form are for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us. If we learn that a child has sent us an enquiry, we delete it.

If something goes wrong

If your details are ever exposed, lost or seen by someone who should not see them, we will tell you without delay on the number you gave us. We will tell you what happened, what it could mean for you, what we are doing about it, and what you can do to protect yourself. We will also report it to the authorities the law names, within the time it sets.

We reply within 2 working days and resolve complaints within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once its complaints process is open. The law asks you to come to us first.

Changes to this notice

When we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If we ever want to use your details for anything new, we will ask you first.
